REPRESENTATIVE PROJECT
EXPERIENCE:
University Drive Widening Project, Plans and specifications were prepared for design of a 1.4 mile section of
urban arterial FM highway including seal
coat, new pavement, pavement overlays, drainage, horizontal and vertical
alignment, FHWA Environmental Impact Assessment, safety considerations,
lighting, traffic control plan, traffic signals, and client
relations.
Greens Prairie Road, College Station, Texas. Plans and specifications were prepared for the design of 2 miles of
F.M. standard roadway including pavement design options and roadway geometrics
and a 100 foot bridge structure.
29th Street Widening
Project, City of Bryan,
Texas. A capital improvement widening
project of two miles of a complex, fully developed major urban arterial. Responsibilities included horizontal and
vertical control development, plan preparation, details, analysis of pavement
defects and correction alternatives, drainage, lighting, specifications, traffic
control plan and construction observation.
Sebesta Road Improvements
Project, City of College
Station, Texas. A capital improvement
widening project of .8 miles of urban collector converting an existing open
ditch section to curb & gutter drainage.
Restricted right-of-way, utilities conflicts, drainage, lighting,
construction easements and traffic control requirements were issues resolved by
Milburn.
Graham Road Rehabilitation
Project, City of College
Station, Texas. A capital improvement
project including widening and base crown revision of a 1.4 mile minor arterial
street. Project involved conversion from
open ditches to curb and gutter drainage, major drainage improvements,
construction zone traffic management, street lighting, and all phases of design development, design
drawings and construction observation
and inspection. Project is partially
completed with Phase II under construction.
Traffic Safety Study - New
Jersey Turnpike Authority.
A comprehensive statistical analysis of the effects of billboards on driver safety on 106 miles of the New
Jersey Turnpike. Study included analysis
of more than 9000 accident reports for cause and effect relationships with
billboard locations, driver distraction, and distraction induced accidents. Accident rates for before and after billboard
construction were compared.
Traffic Impact Assessment Austin I.S.D.
Sports Complex - The
project included access and circulation issues related to impacts from a highway
widening project. Parking analysis and
layout as well as driveway location and restrictions were analyzed for
improvements and impacts. Consideration
of traffic flow on adjacent roadways and in adjacent community was
included.

REPRESENTATIVE PROJECT
EXPERIENCE:
Traffic Signal Design - Stephenville,
Tx. Plans and specifications for a complete
signal installation were developed and coordinated with a commercial development
project. Approval from TxDOT for the
plans and specifications was obtained and the signal was
constructed.

Frontage Roads -
Conducted required engineering studies for determination of appropriate speed
zones and signing for four counties in District 17.
Bryan Business Park, Bryan, Texas, Phase II. The 137 acre Phase II design responsibilities included preliminary
and final platting, presentations to
Planning Commission, detailed design, pavement design, plan and specification
preparation for street and drainage improvements, railroad crossings, traffic control plans, lighting,
and water and sewer improvements totaling over $1.7 Million, construction
inspection for those improvements, and contract
